    Battalion Grenadier Guard Oak Wall Plaque. British – c. 1915. A beautifully executed carved thick figured oak wall plaque. Its front side is a natural brown color. Its back side was stained.

    The Grenadier Guards is an infantry regiment of the British Army. Its various colonels-in-chief have have generally been the British monarchs, including currently Elizabeth II.
