    Description

    Assuming this is a Cast Iron replica of Franz Bergman Camel with Bedouin.
    Cast iron Camel with Bedouin on a black marble base. No signature and no base sticker. The felt is glued securely so I did not try to remove it. I believe this to be a cast-iron replica made from a Franz Bergman bronze. It is a good replica but lacks the detail of the original. A magnet does stick to the camel and the figure. The overall height is 6 inches. From the base to the top of the camel’s head is about 8.25 inches.
    Marble base measures 7 1/8" x 3 1/8" x 2 1/2" Weight is about 11 pounds.
    No idea of the age or manufacturer. Purchased several years ago from the estate of a camel collector who had camel figurines dating from the 18th century to modern.
    The base has a small chip (see photo). The lines on marble are features and not cracked.
