    Description

    Large Early Handcrafted Leather Wrapped Moose Figurine. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    This moose is quite a statement at 13.25" x ~11".
    This is a vintage leather wrapped moose figurine with lovely detailing.  The piece has a heavy patina of age which helps to accentuate the artists tooling marks, really bringing the piece to life.
    There is no makers mark anywhere on the piece and all I know is that it came in a auction lot of assorted antique leather animals from Canada.
    For an aged piece it does show some wear.  There is some general scuffing around the body and as I've shown in the last picture, a small hole on the antler.
    Otherwise the peace is quite a stunner and would look outstanding on a mantle or in a study on a shelf.
    Whether you collect folk art pieces, leather trinkets, or are just a lover of the giant moose, I think there's plenty to love with this piece.
